Foreword:
I want to share my knowledge with you.
Over the past few years, India has witnessed the massive adoption of cyber technologies in all facets of life. This adoption enables the nation to attain high economic growth, welfare, empowerment, and active participation of people in policy matters. Still, on the other, it is raising concerns and challenges from a cybersecurity and privacy viewpoint. These challenges become dangerous when affecting the national security and economic prospects of the country. Moreover, India is a preferred outsourcing destination for IT, and BPM services require focused and continued attention on security and privacy. This attention is essential to maintain the confidence of the global clients, as security and privacy considerations are critical parameters in the outsourcing decisions. Therefore, a demand for adequate efforts and investment in cybersecurity capability building and R&D activities has emerged in the cyber ecosystem.
Also, with the growth of 5G services and business transactions using mobile phones, there is a substantial increase in mobile malware. IT infrastructure resilient against these threats, there is a need for cutting-edge Research and Development efforts in Cyber Security.
